How COD works on ShipKartGo
Updated 2026-08-25
COD (cash on delivery) means the courier collects the order value from the buyer at delivery, then remits that money to the merchant on the partner’s payout cycle.
ShipKartGo records COD as ledger activity: what was collected, what has been remitted, and what is still pending. Wallet and COD figures are not edited from the browser — corrections are reversal entries, not silent edits.
Why this matters
Each courier remits on a different schedule. A single ledger across partners is how merchants reconcile COD without five payout Excel files. Failed deliveries and RTOs never become collected COD.
