What is an NDR?

Updated 2026-08-25

NDR means Non-Delivery Report. The courier attempted delivery and could not complete it — buyer unavailable, refused, wrong address, wrong phone, or a premise closed.

Left open, an NDR often becomes RTO (return to origin), which costs freight twice and delays cash for COD orders. The goal is to act while the parcel is still in the last-mile network.

What merchants do in ShipKartGo

The NDR queue lists failed attempts across every courier. Typical actions: call the buyer, request a reattempt, update address or phone, reschedule, or request RTO if the buyer will not take the parcel.

You do not need a separate login for each courier to work these cases. Status still follows the partner’s scans; ShipKartGo is the operations layer on top.

Track a parcel on the public tracking page, or sign in to the merchant workspace.
