What is RTO?

Updated 2026-08-25

RTO means Return to Origin. After failed delivery attempts (NDRs), the courier sends the parcel back to the merchant’s pickup address instead of delivering it to the buyer.

RTO usually adds return freight and, for COD, means the order value is never collected. Confirming receipt at the warehouse matters so stock and the ledger stay accurate.

The RTO queue shows returning parcels across partners, with reason, status and charges. Merchants confirm receipt when the parcel actually arrives — the app does not invent a received scan.

Track a parcel on the public tracking page, or sign in to the merchant workspace.
